CST have developed a new fibreglass tip with the help of
some of the top 16' skiff sailors. A number of prototypes were produced to
come up with the best combination, providing a tip that has different
bends in alternate planes. It combines S2-Glass and epoxy to provide a tip that is responsive and resists the common problem of
permanent bend. After our short development period with these tips the
results have been forthcoming, with "Fluid Building" coming 2nd
in the NSW state titles.
There are two styles of tips, to cover the applications for
both no.1 and no.2 rigs. CST supplies a complete range of tubing for not
only for masts, but spreaders, whisker arms, receiving tubes, push out
bars and tiller extensions.
