CST newly launched range of HM Club spars for the International 14 have already proven to be fast with a win at the 2010 World Championship as well as the 2011 Australian Championship.
The new high modulus carbon sections are are just 61mm OD at the base and taper to 22mm OD at the tip making it the smallest diameter I14 masts
currently available on the market. Overall weight has
been reduced by 0.5kg and the CofG is now even lower than
before. The HM Club masts are available in two stiffness varients, to suit your sailing weight. |

The fore/aft bend profile of the new high modulus mast
has been engineered to give a similar characteristic to the
old CST14 but with a slightly increased stiffness in
the midpanel. Sideways stiffness has been increased by
over 15% allowing improved power and efficiency with the new
generation square top mainsails. CST have been working
closely with Alexander Sails to optimise the mast bend and
set-up configuration to ensure the highest level of
performance is achieved. |
