CST Rigs Set the Standard in
2004
With a fantastic start to the year, RMW Marine has won the JJ
Giltinan 18fter World Championships. With 4 wins and 2 second
places, RMW reigned supreme in the series. Excellent crew work
and a fantastic boat and rig combination ensured that RMW took an
early strangle hold upon the championship. Beating 9 previous
JJ winners, including Howie Hamlin, took an enormous effort and Rob
and Peter Greenhalgh along with Dan Johnson did so convincingly.
CSTComposites skippered by Chris
Dixon had mixed luck with collision in the Invitational Race, which
set them back in the JJ. However they recovered towards the
end of the regatta for a 15th.

entire week, putting on a good performance for spectators.

effect, T-bones and subsequent holings, and a few people being
caught OCS. Greenhalgh sailed a conservative race and ended up with
a giant lead that the other boats could not close down.

New Machine
CST has recently had a new addition to the factory. We have just
purchased a new state of the art filament winding machine to give us
our second production line. The purchase allows us to stay at the
fore front of winding technology as well as increase our capacity
and capability. This will
assist us in extending our product range as well as allow us to pass
on the benefits to our customers.
We are
hoping to have the new production line installed and up and running
by the start of January. Our new production line is aimed at smaller
tubes enabling us to produce more of our stock tubes for general
consumption. The new machine
will mesh in nicely with our existing Quality Assurance System to
ensure our existing supply of quality tube.
