Using a CST rig, RMW Marine has taken the worlds by storm winning 4 of the 6 races and not contesting the last race. 4 of the top 5 boats used CST rigs, dominating the waters off Wakayama, Japan. The variable wind strengths proved a great test for the sailors with some races being postponed due to no wind and in others the starters were considering postponement due to excessive breeze. See http://www.i14.jp/wakayama/ for more details.
CST has again proved supremecy in the I14’s with RMW Marine (Rob Greenhalgh and Dan Johnson) using a CST rig to cruise to victory in the PoW Cup. This race was full of thrills and spills with boats capsizing on a start line amid 62 others, causing a domino effect, T-bones and subsequent holings, and a few people being caught OCS. Greenhalgh sailed a conservative race and ended up with a giant lead that the other boats could not close down. Congratulations David and Dan.
Irwin Sails had a convincing win at the 2003 Nats in Perth. From a fleet of 38, in some hairy conditions, Lindsay Irwin and his crew Andrew Perry won four of the seven heats (the first two by 5 and 7 minutes respectively!). Irwin Sails had a CST14 rig, prodder and boom. See http://www.i14.org/ for all the details.

CST has recently had a new addition to the factory. We have just purchased a new state of the art filament winding machine to give us our second production line. The purchase allows us to stay at the fore front of winding technology as well as increase our capacity and capability. This will assist us in extending our product range as well as allow us to pass on the benefits to our customers.
We are hoping to have the new production line installed and up and running by the start of January. Our new production line is aimed at smaller tubes enabling us to produce more of our stock tubes for general consumption. The new machine will mesh in nicely with our existing Quality Assurance System to ensure our existing supply of quality tube.
All four rounds have now been completed. The first five place getters in the Grand Prix all had CST carbon fibre rigs:

2nd: Model SUI
3rd: Wempe DEN
4th: Quantum DEN
5th: Flawless ITA
The championships were held at Martha’s Vineyard in the USA. Seven out of the top ten cats had CST carbon fibre beams.
Commissioning of CST’s new environmental control room is now complete. Our tubes are now produced in a temperature and humidity controlled environment to deliver optimum quality. Combined with our precision computer controlled machines, the highest standard of quality and reproducibility is ensured.
The Championship winner RMW, skippered by Rob Greenhalgh and 2nd place getter Yandoo, skippered by John Winning, used CST carbon fibre rigs.
