By All News, Industrial News, Marine News

CST is celebrating the production of its 10,000th tube and would like to say a big thank you to all its customers.  Since 1995 CST has continued to grow from strength to strength and now employs over 15 people.  During the last 12 years CST has supplied over 1000 masts world wide and CST carbon spars now dominate open skiff classes both in Australia and internationally (see Geelong skiff regatta news article).  The company is now the sole supplier of spars to the Flying Tiger 10m being built in China.  CST is currently undergoing further expansion and expects to increase turnover by 20% in 2007.  For further information on our extensive product range and manufacturing capabilities contact [email protected]

New Machine

By All News, Industrial News, Marine News

CST has recently had a new addition to the factory. We have just purchased a new state of the art filament winding machine to give us our second production line. The purchase allows us to stay at the fore front of winding technology as well as increase our capacity and capability. This will assist us in extending our product range as well as allow us to pass on the benefits to our customers.

We are hoping to have the new production line installed and up and running by the start of January. Our new production line is aimed at smaller tubes enabling us to produce more of our stock tubes for general consumption. The new machine will mesh in nicely with our existing Quality Assurance System to ensure our existing supply of quality tube.
