CST has recently completed load-testing for mast fittings. We are continually testing our composite products to ensure our fittings and tubes can withstand maximum load, and if they are to fail, we design them to fail in the least destructive way.
By testing our products vs. design we can calibrate our system to ensure that our theoretical values stand up in the real world. These products are dependent on laminate schedule, composite strength, curing parameters and even hole placement.
